Is Your Dream Wedding Becoming More of a Nightmare Because of The Economy?
I’m wondering how many brides have been affected by the economy. I’ve heard lots of stories about brides slashing wedding budgets or even canceling their weddings due to financial difficulty.
Well, I hate to hear that anyone had to cancel their wedding because they just didn’t know how they could pull it off because of the economic downturn. That’s why I thought it was so cool that Rockstar Wedding Planner, Ciara Daykin is hosting a BRAND NEW free teleclass called “Screw the Economy! Have Your Dream Wedding Without the Nightmare Bill.”
Ciara Daykin is THE Rockstar Wedding Planner. She believes that no matter what is happening in the world around you that you can still have the wedding of your dreams. She’s done it for countless couples over and over again and now she’s telling the world her industry insider secrets to planning couture weddings on cookie cutter budgets.
In fact, Ciara even did it for her own wedding, planning a 4 day Rocky Mountain adventure for 125 people, open bar, steak dinner, 5 bridesmaids and groomsmen all for under $30,000. Pretty impressive.
Here’s the link if you want to check out her teleclass and sign

But don’t forget to leave a comment. I really want to know – are
you planning your wedding and running into financial difficulties? How are you dealing with this? Are you sacrificing your dream wedding?
Thankful.
Hi,
I hope you enjoy the holiday season. Take a moment and think of all the things that you have in your life, right at this moment, and be thankful for them. There are no guarantees about life and what you have in it.

Are you getting married soon?
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing a letter of reference on behalf of my husband and I, family and friends.
My husband and I got married last July and were so happy with Dave Winsor. We received so many compliments from friends and family about the DJ. We knew that picking a DJ, was one of the biggest decisions of wedding planning, because after all, most receptions are based around the music.
Dave was very detail oriented, and basically had everything planned out so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was so nice to have someone who was so personal and took the time to make sure the day went how we imagined. I have been to quite a few weddings, and still think I got the best DJ. I truly recommend him to everyone, you will not be disappointed.
I actually got the chance to see Dave a few months after the wedding, and it was great because he remembered our day and the details about the wedding. To have someone who now knows you on a personal level, because of the event was great. That just goes to show how personal he was and how much he paid attention to detail.
If anyone wants to contact me personally for a reference, I will gladly give them one. You can contact me at jfaith85@yahoo.com.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Hutchings
Derek and Jenny
What a magical night! Derek and Jenny are HUGE Red Sox fans so it was amazing to see the great touches that Jenny and her girls came up with. Instead of placecards, each person got a box of Cracker Jacks with a personalized Sox ticket attached. The tables all had Red Sox themed names. I was able to provide a custom introduction from Carl Beane, The Voice of Fenway Park. It was a PARTY!!
Joanne Lee was the photographer and you should really take a good look at her work if you’re getting married in this area.

Thanks Derek and Jenny!

What an amazing time under the tent. The Inn was amazing and Anne Skidmore took some wonderful pictures.

A nice note from Rikhav:
We hired Dave Winsor to be the DJ at our wedding on August 29, 2009. At our initial meeting, I was very impressed with Dave’s experience, professionalism, candor, and attention to detail. It was evident that he takes his role in weddings very seriously, and makes efforts to expand his role outside of just being a “hired DJ.” For example, he provided advice and recommendations on what worked, what didn’t work, and things we should consider as we planned our reception. I was very surprised to hear Dave’s ideas of ways for us to display our love for one another and share in the moment outside of music! Overall, Dave did a great job managing the microphone on the wedding night and playing songs from our playlist. Although our list was comprehensive, when Dave deviated from our list, it was in good taste and his song choices were fantastic. Also, unlike most DJ’s, Dave has a great ability to read the crowd on the dance floor, and continue to play songs to keep everyone moving! He was also able to do this by playing continuous songs in a row from different artists, genres, etc. We danced for 3 straight hours, and some of us didn’t even have a chance to eat our wedding cake! Most importantly, I trusted Dave to manage the night and never for one moment did I feel anxious or nervous in his presence. Based on Dave’s personality, experience and attention to detail, I would certainly recommend including Dave in your celebration! Thank you Dave, we had a wonderful time working with you!
Thank you Rikhav and Kelly!!
Thanks Andrew and Amanda
We had a great time! For ONE afternoon in June it didn’t rain. Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception and WHAT A PARTY! Here’s a snap I took at rehearsal:

and the lovely note I received:
Dear Dave,
Thank you for the amazing job that you did at our wedding. It was the perfect, magical night, due in great part, to you. You managed to keep the crowd pumped and dancing throughout the night. The timing and execution of events were perfect and made the evening seem flawless and effortless. Your introductions and commentaries made each event personal and meaningful; we will never forget how you made us feel that night.
Thank you for all the time you took before the wedding to meet with us, and get to know us. It is clear from your performance that you really took the time during those meetings to learn about us, and you used that knowledge to plan a reception that fit our personalities and our style perfectly. We were blown away that you took the time to come to the wedding rehearsal; it truly showed your dedication and a level of caring to your clients.
Everyone has told us how beautiful and wonderful our wedding was, and we contribute a lot of that to what you brought to it. We are so happy that we chose you as our DJ and are so grateful for all that you did!
Thank you,
Drew and Amanda
Wow. Busy season so far

Choosing the “right” entertainer
Hi,
Thank you for taking some time out of your busy day to research what may be the most important part of your wedding…the entertainment. But, that’s not all a really good dj will do. At the risk of sounding like EVERY other website you may visit, I’ll just say this: ”It is a WHOLE lot more than just playing music”. If you aren’t hiring a planner, then who will handle that?
Contact me if you’re getting married. I’ll be happy to let you know what I can do. No pressure. Just fun.
Thanks,
Dave Winsor

This was a wedding package that included ceremony coverage at a different location.
How can I help you?
